Chess MummyPinned me down, found me,
located the pillars to my world's gates,
you dominated my childhood,
you wrote it over with your story,
now I'll never be the same,
you made me love you,
and lust you through and through,
you gave it all making sure I knew all I was missing,
now forever achingly sick with it,
but I cherish your face,
here embalmed in all my disgrace,
the throne got tipped,
shift of willpower,
but I would never regret it, even a bit,
at least you know where to find me,
waiting as always here I'll be.
Clickbait (Gone Wrong!)~ A PoemOkay guys time to tell you about that one time I...
This is clickbait.
Damnit I forgot. Okay never mind!
Instead of telling you that story,
Why don't I tell you 11 Ways to use clickbait properly?
Here we go:
1) If you think anyone cares about you and your stories,
2) Well think again, because they really don't,
3) So instead of wasting everyone's time and your reputation,
4) Tell a story that's worth telling.
5) Tell us a story about how the real summer essentials you need is your brain,
6) Tell us a story about how the real life hacks you need is your creativity.
7) If you're going to use clickbait then use it well,
8) Make the actual content better than your title...
9) Because if your using clickbait then chances are that your title isn't really that good.
10) And finally, At the end of your content put more faith into the world,
11) Don't take it away.
Ode to YouI've written my world dry,
with ink it's an eye for an eye.
Wondered the other day about some things,
then remembered it's a blur on the other side where you reside,
wasting thoughts on the graveyards of long past yesterdays,
strange to really know what I know,
the journey always ends up back there somewhere,
it couldn't just be about the now...no, that would seem normal somehow.
Odd to have such an absence of caring,
swore I caught you staring,
throw it away far from sight,
nothing here worth sharing.
Important Notice!~ A Free verse PoemI'll never be your text notification,
I'll never be your snapchat story,
I'll never be on your instagram,
I'll never be your important notice
I wish I could be the one you drew inspiration from on deviantART,
I wish I could be the one you write about on Twitter,
I wish I could be the one that you reblog about on Tumblr
But I know that it'll never happen
Because I'm the update that nobody wants,
I'm the game that nobody ever plays,
I'm the app that's never been touched,
And I'm the blog that's never been seen
I wanted to be your rose gold,
But I was your silver instead
Forever Yours AloneI think I’ve lost
This isn’t how winning should feel
Or have I lost it all
With some unseen deal
They say ignorance is bliss
But I still want to know
If you forget to water the seeds
How do you expect us to grow
I shall remain
Forever yours alone
No matter who sits
On your adjacent throne
Moment of ImpactI'm half asleep,
in and out fast,
we've all gotta book.
I've been frequenting shows since my mom could get me past the door,
just another night, nothing more.
Should've seen it coming,
but I was too entranced with my current fave,
then his voice spoke a dedication,
a song called "Grave".
My heart sank and I wondered how the hell?
My elation balled up and into the pit of my core my stomach fell.
The dive we were in took on a purplish hue,
impacted me and I could only stare,
what a thing to behold, what a story to share,
a moment ago it was all fun and games,
now all I can do is care.
We held a vigil for her in the club that night,
almost appropriate to the heinous crime,
her friend spoke her pain for us to see,
sang it like a dark angel so beautifully.
Listen to Grave Here
Eden in ApathyThe songs once sung in summer
Have fled from my soul
I’ve become the audience
To my own production
I’ve become lost
To the tide’s seduction
I long for all I’ve lost
But I’ll never again feel whole
The numbness has returned
And torn me apart
So tonight I scream
For I’ve lost my heart
There’s no coming back
From what death stole
I never knew apathy
Would be what set me free
But here I am in eden
Wishing again I could see
A Walk On The BeachA Walk On The Beach
The air is warm outside and it is so crispy
As we walk alone on the beach
We see the waves crashing on the shore
The stars twinkling in the sky
The moon shining down upon us
Lighting up the beach with its pale light
I give you my favorite star in the sky
We walk barefoot on the sand
Leaving our footprints behind
Such a beautiful evening
Filled with wonder
As we kiss on the beach
Prisoner Of LovePrisoner Of Love
I am your prisoner
Since I first look in your eyes
You have captured me
I'll love you till I die
You're voice is harmony
A symphony to my ears
I want to stay with you
For the rest of my years
You are a work of art to me
My love for you I can't disguise
My heart is yours forever
Our lives are forever tied
You have been so good to me
I am a prisoner of love
You are a thief and you have stolen so much
You ought to be arrested for your crimes
Now I shall relate to you what you have done
You have stolen the stars at night
And put them in your eyes
You have stolen the softness of rose petals
And put them on your lips
You have stolen the finest silk
And put it on your skin
You have stolen the music of a symphony
And put it in your voice
And your worst crime
You have stolen my heart
For all of your crimes I find you guilty, guilty
And sentence you to love forever.
I Merge With YouI Merge With You
You are my star I see at night
My rainbow in the day
You are more than diamonds
Or gold that shines in the sun
I merge with you
We are as one
We are now together
I merge with you
We are in love
Now and forever
Butterflies that glow at night
The moon in starlight
attest to our love
You and I
To inhabit the universe
Alive and Hell If I could have gone crazy I certainly would have,
could only watch soaking it in,
eyeballs pried wide,
couldn't sleep or die,
bleeding poison from the inside,
If I could have I would have hit the brink,
away I did slink.
SadistBet it causes him joy,
watching from his distance,
as she tears her mind apart,
back to the start,
devoid of heart,
as he squeezes out all her emotion,
she'll be his mental whore,
making him feel like the centre of the world,
because he is,
as the minutes tick by,
turn into hours, into weeks, into years,
dragging out the plot,
a willing victim,
he's never fought.
Mental TortureLet's visit awhile in this mental hell,
our collective myths we tell ourselves to avoid the nightmare,
they're hitting another dry spell,
here comes the monsoon,
I'll see you soon in our world,
on all fours,
slowly turning the wretched keys to all these attic doors,
I crawl within,
the hurricane of you,
and I grip to my anguish harder,
hoping the days go faster,
till the next time around,
to start the wheel of life again,
to yet again play in our cherished mental disaster,
here there is no servant nor master,
there is only harder and faster.
MamaMama forgive me,
I won't be coming home tonight,
It rained mortar shells while I was outside.
Tell papa I love him, and
I'm sorry I haven't called in a while.
I wanted to come back with a surprise,
That college degree I've been working for,
I got it mama, I wanted you proud.
But I think I'll come home wrapped in a flag.
I'm sorry mama,
I couldn’t run fast enough,
It happened in a blink, I swear
I couldn't react.
There was a whistle and
something flung me off the ground.
I could hear screams around
And I tasted blood in my mouth.
It really hurt mama,
I know I cried for you,
But no one answered,
Only more screamed bellowed
I'm scared, mama.
I want to hear your voice
But it's getting cold and
Another whistle is about
To hit home.
I'm sorry mama,
I think I lost my voice.
I can see your name
Blinking on the crac
A Cat FestIt's 6 am and you wake up to yowling
A dozen cats, endlessly meowing
In a saxophone solo played by kittens
who have no idea how to use a reed, nor mittens.
With no regards to your poor ear,
they perch at the rooftop in utmost cheer.
Loudly playing their symphony,
Disturbing your sleep, oh the agony
They care not for a frostbite,
despite it being -12 outside.
It's February, so grab a dutch and roll some indo,
there's a cat orgy right beneath your window.
How We Killed Winter.Well, we stuffed him with food until he died happy and very, very full.
Did you expect that we talked him to death? Or that we bored him out with stories about your Auntie Josephine to the point he shot himself in the head? Tsk, boy, don’t give me those puppy eyes; you're so naive sometimes.
Yes, we all loved Winter when he came home for the first time; gently carried in your momma's arms; his tiny little limbs, those cute blurb sounds he made...everyone was so attached to the little rascal. Oi, if you start crying now I am not going to finish. I know you loved him dearly, but I'll be damned! The minute he entered the house, bad luck started. First your grandma lost her teeth, then broke her hip, afterwards your momma started burning food despite being the best cook in the county and then you started stuttering like there's no tomorrow. If that's not bad luck, I dunno what it is.
Everything was Winter's fault. That's when we started trying to get rid of him, but he was the

A single word
A single gesture
And a new Universe
Comes to life
Just one more
In this thing
We call existence
Journey to the StreamFor I am free of absolutes that can lead to regret;
Free of pain, suffering and guilt;
The desire to manipulate the ones I hold dear
The tendencies God may have built
This line I have recited, every day since I came
A day I was met, with forgiveness, love, and scorn
Unlike the place I existed,
Before I was physically born
Every morning I open my door, and gaze upon a beauty new
Today I see
A lush green valley, a clear river, and mountains in the distance
A sight so surreal, so divine
Could cause man to question,
The purpose of existence
I see my family and friends at the end of the river
I try to wade through
To meet them all,
But the current is strong
It demands me to fall!
Sudden echoes of loss,
Fill the red and starry-night skies
The river changes to a stream;
Before the truth of physical cries
I start to wade, into the mute, crystal clear stream
I will soon join, my friends and family
In an ever-changing, never-ending, dream.
Long BeforeLong before race, colour or creed was a breed,
the essence of spirituality.
Long before opinions, wars and flesh and blood there was something of simplicity,
something devoid of hypocrisy.
Long before you and I became the well behaved versions of ourselves here today,
we lived the freedom of only the brave.
Well before we wrote the script of what was to come,
we had lost integrity along the way,
in the mess we would play,
until we grasped again at the sense of what came before,
out of the physical we transcended through the open door,
embracing our spirituality once more.
